IMPORTANT
- Hiking boots with ankle support and good grip are essential part of equipment. More than half of the route is on rough, rocky terrain, the summit part is a via ferrata with iron steps and ladders, and secure step is important for your well-being and safety.
- All hikers must wear appropriate footwear suitable for rugged terrain. Without proper footwear, individuals are at greater risk of injury, and therefore, we cannot permit them to join the tour. Please note that in such cases, no refunds will be provided, as safety requirements were clearly communicated in advance.
Difficulty of the tour – trekking
Traversing the Julian Alps requires a well-trained hiker. The route is well marked and in certain short but exposed sections, it is also equipped with steel cables (stages 2 and stage 3). The use the via-ferrata equipment is strongly advised here to provide additional security. Despite iron cables, this is not a via ferrata climbing route, so no via-ferrata climbing is done here. The cables are there only to provide additional security for hikers in the more exposed sections of an otherwise technically easy hiking route. A hiker needs basic hiking knowledge and experience for the tour and solid fitness training.
Worry-free hiking experience – Partially guided tour
This trekking tour involves hiking through remote and rugged terrains. We offer partially guided tours for hikers, covering the most challenging stages—Stage 02, Stage 03 and the ascent of Mt Triglav (on the morning of the fourth day). This option is ideal for hikers who feel less confident on exposed / protected paths. With an experienced guide, the hike becomes a safer and more enjoyable experience.
Price: 1.200,00 € / 1–4 hikers with 1 professional mountain guide
